Withdrawal of your Consent on Data Processing

Often data processing is only possible with your explicit consent. You can withdraw your previously granted consent anytime. An informal notice via email is sufficient therefore. The legality of data processed until this withdrawal remains unaffected.

In case of a violation of data protection law, the person concerned has the right to initiate a complaint to the competent supervisory authority. Right to Data Portability

You have the right to demand from us to hand over data, that we have processed automatically, based on your consent or while fulfilling a contract, to you or to a third party in a typical format. If you demand to hand over the data to another responsible party we will comply as long as it is technically reasonable.

Disclosure, Restriction of Processing, Erasure

Based on applicable law, you have the right to demand information about the origin, recipient and purpose of your personal data anytime and without any charge. Objection against Advertising Emails

We object to the use of contact details published in the legal section of our website, for advertising emails, that have not been requested explicitly. The website operators reserve themselves the right of further legal actions, in case of unsolicited advertising information being transmitted, i.e. via to spam-emails.

 

3. Information about the processing of personal data

(1) Hereinafter we inform you about the collection of personal data when using our website. Personal data is e.g. name, address, E-mail address, user behavior.

(2) When contacting us by e-mail or using a contact form, we will store the data submitted by you (mail-address, if necessary name and phone number), in order to answer your questions or to process your request. The data will be deleted after the storage is no longer required or  the processing will be restricted, if legal storage obligations exist.

 

4. Data Record on our Website

Server Log-Files

The website provider is recording and saving information automatically transmitted by the browser in so-called server log-files. This includes:

  • browser type and browser version
  • operating system used
  • referrer URL
  • host name of accessing computers
  • time of the server request
  • IP address

These data will not be merged with other sources of data.

Cookies

Processing of data is based on article 6, section 1, DSGVO, which permits processing data to fulfill a contract or as part of pre-contract measures.

Use of Cookies

(1) In addition to aforementioned data, cookies will be saved on your computer when using our website. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your mass storage system in relation to your browser and which supply the party that uses the cookie with several information. Cookies cannot execute software programs nor can they transmit viruses to your computer. They are used to make the internet presence more user-friendly and effective.

(2) This website is using the following type of cookies which will be explained hereinafter:

- transistent cookies (see a.)

- persistant cookies (see b.)

 

a. Transistent cookies are deleted automatically as soon as you close your browser. This is including i.e. session cookies. They are saving the session-ID with which several browser requests of a shared session can be associated to each other. Thus your computer can be recognized once you return to our website. Session cookies are deleted as soon as you log out or close your browser.

b. Persistant cookies are deleted automatically after a defined period of time which might differ depending on the cookie. You can delete the cookies in the safety settings of your browser anytime.

You can configure your browser settings according to your needs and i.e. deny the acceptance of third party cookies or of cookies at all. Third party cookies are cookies set up by a third party (and therefore not by the website you are currently on). We would like to point out that by deactivating cookies some parts of our website might not be usable any more.

 

5. Services

RMA-Announcements, Login-Area, Newsletter and Contact Form

If you are going to use the services offered on our website an email address as well as information that enables us to verify that you are the owner of this address and that you agree with the processing of your data is required. Further data is not recorded or is only recorded on a voluntarily basis. We will process this data for the required service only and will not forward it to third parties.

The processing of any data, submitted with the form related to the desired service, is based on your consent only (article 6, section 1, DSGVO). The granted consent to record and process data including the email address, could be withdrawn anytime, i.e. by clicking on the “unsubscribe” button of the newsletter. The legality of data processed until this withdrawal remains unaffected hereof.

The recorded data required to fulfill the desired service, i.e. the contact data in the RMA-announcement form for complaints, will be stored until the service is fulfilled and, if applicable, as long as legal retention periods apply. They will be deleted hereinafter. Data that is stored for other reasons, i.e. email addresses for the login section, is unaffected hereof.
